"Red House" Playlist.
Alternative. Dance. Electronic. Folk. Pop. Hip Hop. Rap. Indie. Classic. Whatever the genre, we can all agree that music is the best thing ever. Its ability to take you from one moment in time to another is a magical feeling.
Do you associate the songs you listen to with a mood, a feeling, a place, or a specific time?
For me, finding new hidden gems or past treasures during my daily music searches is an exciting moment; I tend to overthink what I want to associate a song with, and once that is ~finally~ decided, into a playlist it goes. I have a playlist for probably every tiny unexplainable feeling out there, such as jiggy or waves just to name a couple. [Side note: I agree, this habit of mine is weird, but this really happens. I'll be listening to a song and say to myself "wow, this song is really jiggy" or "this song is really wavy"]. I can't be the only one who does this?!
In my head, the ideal image I created for this playlist, "Red House," is for when driving down long, winding roads and looking out the window to see trees flowing by you and cute little red, brick homes passing by in the wind. In reality, these songs are just as good in the comfort of your own bed. But, hey- sometimes it's fun to pretend we are that girl in the movie looking out the window making her life out to be a drama series.
