2 upcoming summer trends I love..
☆ the neck scarf: I am just loving this trend! and what better than a piece of clothing that you can style many, many different ways? from tying a scarf around your ponytail to simply tying a scarf around your neck or belt loop...the opportunities are endless. the unique details and patterns of these lightweight, creative scarves are perfect for adding character to any outfit. the greatest thing about this trend is its availability to us shoppers. while you can purchase these scarves online as you will see, you can also score vintage one-of-a-kind scarves on your next thrifting adventure.
this cheetah neck scarf would be perfect paired with a simple white tee and distressed cutoffs for the summer (*bonus: it's on sale for $10 right now at urban). another option is this neck scarf from the boutique, riffraff. it's abstract and will add dimension to any outfit. these are of course, only a couple options from the many scarves out there! so have fun with this trend and see what you come up with!
☆ smocked tops: I recently discovered the trend of smocked tops and I think they are so flattering! the tight detailing around the bust is perfectly balanced with the flow in the bottom of these tops. the variety of style in this trend is great! you can choose from simple, strapless smocked tops, to smocked tops with corset detailing and/or straps you can uniquley tie yourself! whether it be a cute bow or the effortless, quick-tie appearance, these tops are bound to be show stoppers this summer. they are comfortable, and the smock detailing prevents any falling down of the shirt that typically occurs with basic crop tops.

I can already tell that this summer's fashion is going to be reaaaaal good. tbh I am a huge winter fashion kind of girl, but I have been dying to go out and purchase some new summer clothing because of all the amazing looks I have seen!
